Every year my family and I visit a local apple orchard to pick yummy apples. Tasting apples right off the tree is just the best!!! Then when we get home we assemble a kit for each of my girls' teachers. Here are the kits we made this past weekend. The apple on the tag was made using the Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge. The bushel baskets were $3.00 each on sale at Michael's. We actually had to purchase popsicle sticks to include. Usually they are included in the caramels bags, but I guess that was a budget cut for the Kraft company this year. These caramel apple kits are so fun to make and give! And not to mention, it's always a good thing to get some brownie points with the teachers in the beginning of the school year! :)

Welcome to my (spooky) happy place!
After years of "lurking," I've finally created my very own blog. My happy place is when I am thinking of photography, scrapbooking and card-making. So, in theory, my blog will be a happy place for me as it will be all about those passions! I'm starting near Halloween, so hence the blog theme. I love Halloween! Actually, I love decorating for all of the holidays and seasons (thanks to my mom!). I'll see how it goes as far as keeping my blog updated with them! Thanks to Crystal and Kristina at jessicasprague.com for the blog class! I still need some help with it, but I'll learn as I go. :)
