The first thing I made was a centerpiece. If you remember from my month of being a Scrappy Moms guest designer, I made a pinwheel centerpiece for a chocolate party. Well, the colors of the party changed, so the centerpiece had to as well! Yeah, like I'm going to bring something that doesn't match- LOL!
I used Cricut-Imagine's Bubblegum Stripes
cartridge to make the patterned paper.
The pinwheel die is the first metal die ever from
Scrappy Moms! It's very cute and super easy to use!
Now for the next few items, I only made the labels and tags using my PC and added the ribbon. And it was without the Cricut (I know-shocker)! The culinary crafty mom of the birthday girl made the actual items.
Such a cool concept - Hot Chocolate on a Stick!
I added the Grape Fizz Trendy Twine and tag.
Aren't these jars adorable? They're from
Hobby Lobby. I used address labels & my
Print Shop program to design the labels.
I helped fill the jars with the sugar scrub and
WOW did it smell yummy - just like brownies!
The play-dough also smelled yummy,
but I was told by the birthday girl's brother
that it did NOT taste yummy- LOL!
The containers were sold in a set of 4
from the local dollar store.
I thought my friend was ingenious for using a paint container
cut apart for the homemade chocolate lip gloss!
All of these fun treats went into a pail that
each girl got to decorate at the party
and then were taken home as the favor! So fun!
the idea for this theme, the chocolate fountain!
It was quite the hit at this chocolately party!
We're almost to Friday - YES!! Thanks for popping by. Have a great weekend my crafty friends!
